There is a wide spread of influenza (flu) in the beginning of winter. Why
winter?
Here is a hypothesis, for brainstorming and undertaking some
research.
The influenza virus (some kind of organic molecule set) exists
everywhere in the atmosphere throughout the year. Similarly, the moisture (water molecule
set) exists everywhere in the atmosphere throughout the year. The influenza virus clings
to the moisture, for it to survive.
During other seasons, the clinging of the influenza virus to the
moisture is so good and homogeneous that this virus is not seen roaming
outside. During winter, however, the moisture condenses and squeezes out the
influenza virus. Now the influenza virus misses its home to cling to. It needs
some other place to cling to. It goes mad and runs from one place to another where it can
find an alternative home to cling to. It finds an easy place in our nose.
That is how we land up being caught up with the influenza virus in
winter. |
